Josephine Ryan is an English antiques dealer and I love her three books about decorating with antiques. She has a store in London, and has also renovated and decorated this beautiful property in Provence, near Nimes, which is available as a holiday home.
Originally it had been an abandoned house, but following an extensive renovation, it’s now a gorgeous home filled with beautiful, French vintage pieces with wonderfully aged patinas. Josephine describes her style as ‘modern, rustic and eccentric’; but it’s also understated, elegant, and warm & inviting.
I love the neutral colour scheme, the lighting, and use of weathered outdoor bistro tables & folding chairs throughout the house..
So.. if you have a spare £1,000 for one week’s stay, plus your airfares, what are you waiting for?! You can visit Josephine’s website here. Enjoy!
